Afrinat International Airlines was an airline based in Banjul, Gambia and provided scheduled services to other West African states (Ghana, Guinea, Mali, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, and Cameroon). In 2003 there were proposals for a daily service between New York (JFK) and Banjul using a Boeing 747 (a 747-400 of Virgin Atlantic Airways).
In July 2008 I found the website www.afrinat.com still online (including booking facility), with a copyright note as late as 2007...
