MNG was founded in 1996, but operated only cargo flights. In 2001 a passenger operation was started, but in 2006 this was terminated and MNG continued to operate its cargo flights.
For its passenger flights, the 2005 fleetlist showed 737-400s (TC-MNF, TC-MNH, TC-MNI, TC-MNL, TC-MNM), MD-82s (TC-MNO, TC-MNP, TC-MNR, TC-MNS, TC-MNT) and A300B4s (TC-MNE, TC-MNY, TC-MNZ). In 2006 only TC-MNH remained of the 737s, while also MD-82 TC-MNP had left the fleet; the A300s saw TC-MCA join the passenger operations.
When passenger operatons ceased in 2006, the aircraft moved to other Turkish operaters such as Turkish Best Airlines, ACT Airlines (another cargo operator trying its hand on passenger flights) and Corendon Airlines.
