Skyways (JZ, Stockholm Arlanda-ARN) and its sister carrier City Airline (CF, Gothenburg Landvetter-GOT) filed for bankruptcy and suspended operations on 22May2012.
Both carriers were owned by Mansvell Enterprises, controlled by Ukrainian business man Igor Kolomoyskyi - just like Cimber Sterling (QI, S°nderborg (SGD)) which had been forced to file for bankruptcy at the beginning of the month...
Skyways used 11 Fokker 50s, operated by Avia Express (Stockholm Arlanda - ARN)), mainly on domestic routes in Sweden and international routes to Denmark and Norway.
City Airline operated 6 ERJ-145s and 2 ERJ-135s from Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT) to Luleň Kallax-LLA, Lyon St. ExupÚry-LYS, Manchester Ringway Int'l-MAN, Prague Ruzyne-PRG and Zurich (Kloten-ZRH).
