Fokker 50 SE-LTR (c/n 20226) is seen here parked at Amsterdam IAP on a foggy 10Dec05.

Originally this company was founded in 1994 as Svea Flyg, it was later renamed West East Air; in 2003 it was rebranded to Swe Fly with firm intentions to start long haul flight. During 2005 the fleet consisted of Fokker 50s SE-LTR, SE-LTS (c/n 20230) and SE-LLN (c/n 20260), while Boeing 767-219(ER) SE-RBV (c/n 24150) was leased from ILFC and joined the fleet that year for operating Asian routes (to Lahore,Pakistan).
During August rumors started to spread that the airline was in financial troubles; on 02Sep05 all operations were suspended.
During November 2005 a plan was raised to restart the airline by investments from India.
