Not the first time I travelled these parts of Canada, British Colombia and Alberta, but pleasant memories of (a.o.) 2007 and 2010 made
me return. Due to the amount of airframes photographed I split my report in 3 webpages. It was again a mix of planes and other interests, but quite a bit did not work out. All in all I am satisfied with the number of (bush)planes I came across and people I met. The weather was a handicap most days, by far more rainy days than sunny days or even dry spells, but we have to take that as it comes. The visits depicted here were on Oct08-10th and we stayed in each location for about 1hr30. The photos from Stanley Park were madeduring a walk, I did not take up a specific position here.. The 18-day trip ended with a flight out of Vancouver on Oct. 12th. Check out the other pages, there's plenty to see, links at bottom page. I hope you'll enjoy my report as much as I had fun watching the activities at both seaplane bases here. |
