The 70th anniversary of the 6.6.1944 D-Day invasion at Normandy brought a gathering of Douglas C-47's and DC-3's to Cherbourg.
Although published as an air show at Cherbourg - Maupertus Airport on 04 + 05 + 06 June 2014, this was found to be a hoax, a fiasco, as there was no program, no information and most of all no access beyond the fence. So no visits to the aircraft.

The DDA DC-3 and the Breitling DC-3 did most of the flying on June 5th, hopefully with many paying passengers.
