Ristorante-pizzeria Michelangelo da Vinci, abandoned restaurant w/ 2 aeroplanes @Villamarzana-Rovigo(-Sud)
While touring for our holidays through parts of Italy, I came in the region of this closed restaurant. As a site with 'off-airport aeroplanes' I have it on my website, so I knew the exact location and programmed the SatNav.
I hesitated for that sign 'Attenti al Cane', as garderner's stuff was visibly lying around and all the shrubs and trees looked well maintained. So I shook the gate
and rattle the bars.. but no pitbull came running.
I climbed the lower side fence, went into stealth mode until I was sure there was no one around. AND THEN I ENJOYED MYSELF!
Left nothing but my footprints. |

There is quite some ground to cover here, lots of spots to have drinks and/or food

was scavenged even before it got to this location @Villamarzana

Pity this restaurant never took off, but probably too close to the exisiting housing estate

Disembarking, changing aeroplanes

The swimming pool. There's plenty of investment made. It has many facilities for people to enjoy themselves.

Little is left of the 'control tower'. I am thinking they had the aerolanes connected with airconditioning..?

Entering through the control tower into the Tupolev Tu-134; alas, no hostess to welcome me!

Nice area to throw a party!

A scene of devastation..
